Welcome to a gallery of our latest projects.
A family of five (mom, dad, and 3 adorable girls) asked us to makeover their basement. They had spent time working on the main floors of their home and needed some fresh eyes on the basement. Throughout their home, they had used a very specific color palette drawn from a favorite painting: a rich red, a deep orange, an eggplant purple and turquoise. The main room had been a catch-all space, but the girls really wanted a large space to dance, do gymnastics, and play Zombie Tag. The fireplace was never used. With a fresh coat of paint, and a custom-insert, it became a fun chalkboard.
The family needed a guest room that would not only provide guests a cozy place to rest, but also be a quiet spot to curl up with a favorite book. One of the previous owners of the home had been a university professor, and the family could only imagine he had spent years researching and studying in this bookcase-lined room; so, they wanted to maintain the "professorial" feel to the space but still bring in their cheerful color palette.
They requested a little facelift to the bathroom as well. We added a new shower curtain, some towel hooks, and a great new mirror.
Finally, the family needed a place where they could all enjoy a movie together. After moving the TV out of the main room, they cleaned out a storage room to make the media room. With a new sectional, a mini-fridge, popcorn-maker, and lots of colorful pillows to cozy-up the space, we created the perfect spot for family movie night.
We had such a great time finding inspiration from this vibrant color scheme and the creativity of the girls in this family. They now have a fun and cozy space to love where they sleep, read, bathe, and play.
For this guest bedroom, we created an atmosphere for guests that is welcoming and restful.
We gave the bed a plush, one-of-a-kind look with down pillows custom-made by Clover.
Family visiting from Texas felt especially at home with the personalized touches.
Make your guests feel at home, too, with warm candlelight and freshly cut flowers.
A chalkboard gives a unique welcome to each guest, or displays helpful information such as a wifi password or breakfast time.
Now the guests can truly love where they sleep.
